Customizations

Every map has customizable options available. Below are the main customizations we offer. After your order, you can email us any selections you prefer from the options below.

Also contact us if you have questions about other options, such as custom inscriptions or logos.

Compass Rose

Engraved onto almost all maps is a Compass Rose, the traditional indicator of geographic orientation. See a selection of compasses below — let us know if you have another style you wish to engrave.

Stains

All of our maps are stained to accentuate the grain, and to contrast the different features on the maps. For the map layers with engraved text, we generally use a lighter color for contrast and legibility. The frame and backing pairing options are seen in the image to the right.

Title and Font

We have a large selection of fonts available for the map title. You can choose from any shown here or let us know if you have another title font preference when ordering. The text of the title may also be changed. Custom languages are also possible for the title.
